How should we spend our life?
Human life is so fragile that’s why some people spend their life doing all the things that they want. That’s how YOLO (you only live once) became so popular. Some people will get the things they want; they find someone to love and to spend all their life with and some may do evil things just to satisfy their desires. But is this the right way of spending one life?
If we spend our lives doing the things that only satisfy ourselves for short-term happiness, is it worth wasting our breath on that single and small achievement? We need goals to have long-term contentment that will lead us to have a genuine and blissful life.
We need to begin to examine ourselves. Are we leading a life that will give us the happiness and peace that we want? How can we make sure that the life we are living and will be living in the life worthy of all the efforts that we are doing now?
Please ponder while reading these verses from the Bible:
“My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and are spent without hope.”
(Job 7:6 New King James Version)
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
(Matthew 6:25, 33 NIV)
Life in this world is like vapor- it appears for a while and vanishes quickly. But if you will seek the truth of why we have this short and fragile life, you will understand your sole purpose of being alive.
Please search for it and you will find it.
